B2B Website Design & Development

A well-designed website communicates the company’s brand promise and value proposition, making it easier for B2B companies to stand out.

Website design plays a critical role in establishing a strong online presence for B2B tech companies. It is essential to have an attractive, user-friendly, and functional website to attract and engage potential customers, convey credibility and professionalism, and ultimately drive conversions.

A well-designed website communicates the company’s brand promise and value proposition, making it easier for B2B companies to stand out. An organized structure with easy-to-read fonts and simple navigation helps visitors find information quickly but also encourages them to stay on the site longer by minimizing friction and visual frustration.

Key Elements of B2B Website Design and Website Development

While every website is different, there are some key elements all good websites should have. Every website is made up of two main things: content and design. The content is the words on the page and the design is everything else you see.

Modern

The design needs to be clean and modern, even if your brand has a traditional style. It should follow best design practices for the current times while following your company’s brand guidelines to ensure the look and feel are consistent. Likewise, your content also needs to be on brand and concise but persuasive.

Intuitive

The website navigation should be intuitive and also follow current web standards. For instance, if you have a menu that collapses when your site shrinks, it should be like this icon: ☰

This is a widely used and recognized symbol that people know well. There is a time and a place to be unique, but when it comes to navigation, stick with what is familiar to create a positive user experience.

Mobile-Friendly

Every website needs to be mobile-responsive today. Many websites have an increasing percentage of mobile users. Not to mention, having a mobile responsive site is a critical ranking factor for Google and other search engines. In fact, it is best practice in some industries to design your site as mobile first, then design for the desktop after. That matters somewhat for certain websites, but with modern website builders, it is relatively easy to switch between mobile and desktop designs.

Well-Written Code

Websites are essentially files of code and a database on a server. Because of that, website design typically refers to what you see when you visit a site. There is a great deal of code on the backend that dictates the website layout. The code determines everything from the font type and sizes to the color and spacing between elements. Some web folks specialize in either design or development. We have a mix of both at Creative Stream. This means our team can design an amazing website and then we have the technical expertise to build it out from the ground up and launch it.
